Dyasphonic is finally back!! You all donât know how badly Iâve been wanting to bring my first party series back! We had sooo much fun dancing to global bangers, edits, and new releases until the sun came up last year! If you're new here, á¸yasphonic.dance is a dance party that adds spice to your favorite unappreciated genres and blends global tunes that are birthed in Black communities across the globe. At á¸yasphonic, DJs spin the sounds of their heart. For me, that's everything from Afrohouse to Soca to Shatta to Amapiano to Bounce music, with a little bit of the unexpected. Don't miss á¸yasphonic, where cultures sonically converge! This time weâll be in the West Loop at Koi Noodles' event space. Be prepared to move all night long! Naptown, I'm OTW!Around this same time last year, I was supposed to have my first out of town show in St. Louis. Unfortunately I got sick and couldn't go. I was so disappointed because it had been goal of mine to have a booking outside of Chicagoland. This year, I met Baby Kakes, a DJ based in Indianapolis, at a concert here in Chicago. He shared he saw me play at Cerise Rooftop one summer (RIP Virgin Hotel Chicago) and said he had to get me out to Indianapolis for Furahi Day and here we are! I'm so excited to connect and meet with other tastemakers in Naptown. I'll see y'all soon! Dya at Drip!I'm making my Hot Drip Sessions debut this month on Saturday, August 22! Come sip some tea and enjoy some out of this world tunes. Welcome to the DyasphereThis year was the best birthday I've had in several years! Not only did I play two shows that are very aligned with who I am and where I want to go in my career, I simply felt loved and considered by the people around me. While I did not vlog the day of, I did capture the weekend celebrations at ASHAWO and Vigro Deep's show for JAMA! Happy Taurus season!
